Over Valentine's weekend, Kineteka took the GeekLoot store to ConDFW. As usual, we had a great time, met some fun people, and did a little business.

ConDFW is one of two speculative fiction literary events in Dallas and occurs every year in February. This was GeekLoot's second year at ConDFW and it was obvious we'd established ourselves. Both fellow vendors and convention attendees recognized us and had good things to say about our new stock.

Although ConDFW is primarily a literary convention, GeekLoot focuses more on affordable fun than books. The dealers room invariably has several booksellers and we'd hate to compete with our friends. Even our T-shirts and toys are different so as not to draw away from other small businesses.

The next convention we plan on being at is ApolloCon in June. Perhaps we'll see you there?
